Flash Steamed Whole Lobster
Ingredients
   1 cup water
   1/2 teaspoon salt
   1 to 2 whole lobsters (3 to 4 pounds each), fresh or frozen


Directions
Add water to the inner bowl of your electric pressure cooker and stir in salt. Add lobster, taking care not to fill the cooker beyond it's maximum fill line. Remove bands from claws before cooking, if necessary.

Seal lid and bring to pressure. Cook fresh lobster 3 to 4 minutes. Cook frozen lobster 5 to 6 minutes. Turn off or unplug pressure cooker and release pressure using the quick release method by opening the pressure relief valve in short bursts, or by following the manufacturer's instructions for quick release. Serve immediately.
