Grilled Turkey Burgers
Appliance: Contact Grill - 4 servings and larger.

   1 pound ground turkey
   Cooking oil (optional)
   Salt and pepper to taste
Recommended Spices:
   1/2 teaspoon onion powder
   1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
   1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

If using recommended spices, sprinkle them evenly over ground meat and then fold it all together gently with your hands, just until evenly combined. Do not overwork. Overworked burgers will be mealy.

Preheat your contact grill according to manufacturer's instructions for hamburgers or to medium-high to high, depending on your model. Use grill plates, if applicable.

Shape meat into four patties, 1/2 inch thick. Sprinkle both sides of patties with salt and pepper, to taste.

Grill burgers to an internal temperature of 165 degrees(F), 5 to 8 minutes. Tent with foil and allow to rest 5 minutes before serving.
