Teriyaki Chicken Burgers

Ingredients
   1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
   2 tablespoons mayonnaise
   1/4 teaspoon pepper
   1 pound ground chicken
   4 pineapple rings, patted dry (optional)


Directions
Preheat contact grill according to manufacturer's directions for hamburgers or medium high to high, depending on your model. Use grill plates, if applicable.

Mix teriyaki sauce, mayonnaise and pepper in a large bowl until well blended. Add meat and mix by hand only until evenly combined. Do not overwork. Overworked meat will be mealy. Shape into four patties, about 1/2 inch thick. Grill to an internal temperature of 165 degrees(F), about 5-7 minutes.

Tent burgers with foil, and allow them to rest 5 minutes before serving. While the burgers are resting, grill the pineapple rings (if using) for about 3 minutes. Top each burger with one pineapple slice and serve.
