Sherry Marinated Tuna Steaks

Ingredients
For the Marinade:
   1/4 cup soy sauce OR gluten-free tamari
   1/4 cup dry sherry
   1 teaspoon lemon zest
   1 clove garlic, minced
   3 tablespoons olive oil
   1/8 teaspoon white (or black) pepper
   
   2 to 4 tuna steaks, 1 inch thick


Directions
Combine marinade ingredients in a gallon sized zipper bag and shake until well combined. Add tuna and seal bag, squeezing out as much air as possible. Marinate, refrigerated, for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Preheat contact grill according to manufacturer's instructions for fish, or use medium-high to high heat (depending on your machine). Drain tuna and discard marinade. Grill in a single layer, with a little space between each piece. You may have to cook in batches. Cook until fish flakes easily with a fork, 5-6 minutes.
