This recipe is part of the Burger Collection
   1/2 cup onion, minced
   2 cloves garlic, minced
   1/2 teaspoons salt
   1/4 teaspoon pepper
   1/4 cup breadcrumbs
   1 egg, lightly beaten
   1/4 cup barbecue sauce
   1 pound ground turkey

In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients except turkey until well blended. Add meat and mix by hand only until evenly combined. Do not overwork. Overworked meat will be mealy.

Shape into four patties, about 1/2 inch thick. Place on a plate and cover. Allow patties to rest, refrigerated, at least 30 minutes and up to several hours.

Preheat contact grill according to manufacturer's directions for hamburgers or medium high to high, depending on your model. Use grill plates, if applicable.

Grill burgers to an internal temperature of 165 degrees(F), 5 to 8 minutes. Tent with foil and allow to rest 5 minutes before serving.
